We are a specialized centre for diagnosis and treatment of oesophageal and gastric cancer. We collaborate with other centres and hospitals, outpatient specialists and general practitioners engaged in cancer care in order to provide comprehensive medical services. Given the low incidence of the disease, we offer consultations for patients from all over the country.

Each patient's case is discussed by a multidisciplinary team that formulates the optimal diagnostic and treatment strategy tailored to individual patient needs. Recommended treatment options reflect the latest Czech and international guidelines. The multidisciplinary team consults and decides on suitable up-to-date medical procedures and on enabling patients to access novel drugs available within clinical trials conducted in our centre. Our scientists are involved in collaborative research that helps introducing innovations relevant to each diagnosis into clinical practice. We also collaborate with external research teams and foreign academic centers. Our Nutritional team comprises healthcare professionals who accompany the patient throughout the course of the disease, providing pre-operative support, intensive post-operative care, and long-term counselling after recovery.
